Wild Kratts – Live! Contest Rules

  1. Contest is open to residents of British Columbia only, except employees and their families of Knowledge Network Corporation (“Knowledge”) and its affiliated agencies and suppliers. No purchase is necessary.
  2. Contest runs from 12:00:01AM Pacific Time (“PT”) on May 6, 2019 to 11:59PM PT on May 19, 2019 (the “Contest Period”). To be eligible, entries must be received by Knowledge no later than 11:59PM PT, May 19, 2019. The winners will be determined by random draw on or about May 22, 2019. Prize(s) must be accepted as awarded; no cash or substitutions are available. The approximate value of each pair of tickets is $ 250 CAD (two hundred and fifty dollars CAD). Odds of winning depend on the number of valid entries received during the Contest Period. The Prize(s) is/are not transferable.
  3. There are 2 (two) ways to enter:

    Mail-in entries must be received by May 19, 2019 at 5 pm PT.  
    Limit: One (1) entry per person regardless of method of entry.
    Duplication of an entry may result in disqualification.

     

  4. Knowledge is not responsible for any entries that are lost, damaged, illegible, misdirected, postage due or undelivered.
     
  5. There are 10 (ten) prizes available to be won (the “Prize(s)”). Each Prize consists of two pairs of tickets to see Wild Kratts Live 2.0 Activate Creature Power + Meet and Greet Chris and Martin Kratt, on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at 6:30p.m., at Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver.
     
  6. Winner is responsible for all costs and expenses not specifically included in the Prize(s), including but not limited to transportation, parking, accommodation, food, and refreshments.
     
  7. Prize(s) cannot be substituted, whether in cash or otherwise, except at Knowledge’s sole discretion. Knowledge shall have the right to alter or substitute the whole or any component of the Prize(s) with a Prize(s) of equal or greater monetary value. In the event that a confirmed winner (or their parent/guardian if under 19 years of age) declines or forfeits a Prize(s), Knowledge may select an alternate entrant. If it is not reasonably possible to award the Prize(s) to an alternate, the Prize(s) may be forfeited.
     
  8. Knowledge will select the winning entry(ies) on or about May 22, 2019. Knowledge will contact the winner(s) by email and/or phone in order to award the Prize(s). In order to be eligible to receive the Prize(s):

    • a. The winner(s) (or their parent/guardian if under 19 years of age) must be reached and verified by email and/or phone within seven (7) days immediately following the selection of the winning entry(ies).
    • b. Prior to winning, entrants (or their parent/guardian if under 19 years of age) must answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question.
    • c. Winner(s) (or their parent/guardian if under 19 years of age) will be required to sign, have witnessed, and return to Knowledge a declaration and release, affirming compliance with these Official Rules and releasing Knowledge from liability with respect to the Contest and the Prize(s).

  9. If any one of the above conditions in awarding the Prize(s) is not met, the selected entrant will be disqualified and shall not be entitled to receive the Prize(s). Knowledge reserves the right to select at random another eligible entrant as a potential Prize(s) winner.
  10. The personal information you provide to us is used solely to administer the Contest. Knowledge does not sell, trade, or rent your personal information.   11. By accepting a Prize(s), to the full extent permitted by law, winner (or their parent/guardian if under 19 years of age) agrees to Knowledge's use of his/her name and city/province of residence in any advertising and publicity Knowledge may conduct relating to the The Winner (or their parent/guardian if under 19 years of age) may be required to sign a document to this effect.
  12. By entering this Contest, the entrant (or their parent/guardian if under 19 years of age) releases Knowledge and its respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents, their advertising agencies, suppliers of Contest materials, Contest organizers and their respective agents, parent companies, subsidiaries and affiliates from any and all claims, liability, losses or damages, costs or expenses of any kind whatsoever which arise out of or result from the entrant’s participation in the Contest and/or in connection with the acceptance and/or exercise of the entrant of the Prize(s) awarded in this Contest and waives all rights to any recourse in this respect.
General Conditions: All entries become the property of Knowledge. By participating in the Contest, each entrant (or their parent/guardian if under 19 years of age) agrees that Knowledge has not made any warranty, representation or guarantee with respect to the Prize(s). Mass entries, automated entries, entries submitted by third parties, and any entries or Prize claims that are late, incomplete, fraudulent, illegible, unidentified or delayed will be void. Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws. Void where prohibited. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. Should a winner (or their parent/guardian if under 19 years of age) make any false statement(s) in any document referenced above, the winner may be required to promptly return to Knowledge his/her Prize, or the cash value thereof. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of the person who submitted any entry online, the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant. The potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder.
